Occupational Therapist

Northshore is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide direct occupational therapy services to patients, demonstrating a high level of clinical skill and developing effective treatment plans to achieve precise, functional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients in areas of upper extremity function, activities of daily living, generalized physical functioning, psychosocial skills, and cognition/perception to develop and implement treatment plans and goals.
Use excellent communication skills to educate patients and engage them in their own care.
Stay updated regarding developments, new techniques, and equipment in the field of occupational therapy.
Requirements:
Current State of Illinois Occupational Therapist licensure.
Current American Heart Association BLS for healthcare provider or American Red Cross CPR/AED for the professional rescuer certification.
Authorization from the NCBOT to take examination, proof of scheduled exam date, and letter of authorization stating the applicant may practice work without their license under supervision.
Illinois Occupational Therapist license within 90 days of hire.
Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association BLS for healthcare provider or American Red Cross CPR/AED for the professional rescuer certification.
