Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at North Texas Therapy & Home Care. As a therapist-owned and operated facility, we prioritize providing a supportive and collaborative environment for our clinicians to excel in their careers.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients aged 0-21 years in the comfort of their own homes or daytime facilities. This role requires a strong passion for working with pediatrics and a commitment to delivering individualized care plans that empower patients to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes or daytime facilities, 2 or more times per week, as per physician orders.
  • Assess patients' physical, fine motor, and sensory impairments through diagnostic testing and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and evaluate patient goals, and advise on occupational therapy modalities and interventions.
  • Educate staff, caregivers, and patients on occupational therapy principles and practices through training programs and resources.
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current Texas state license.
  • Experience working with pediatrics is essential.
  • Clinical/practicum hours completed.
  • Home health experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is an asset.
