Maintenance Specialist

As a skilled Maintenance Technician at G.S. Precision, you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical duties to adjust, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and rebuild special purpose industrial machinery and support equipment under the guidance of experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Performs necessary repairs and adjustments to systems and components to ensure the proper operation of production machinery and equipment under direct supervision.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and troubleshoots problems, determines the root cause, and makes repairs under direct supervision and performs scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.
• Operates drill presses, lathes, milling machines, sheet metal breaks, shears, and other equipment used in fabrication or modification of machine parts and guarding under direct supervision.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics in accordance with standard practices, reads and interprets hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and drawings.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent or 0-2 years of experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use all required measurement and inspection equipment.
• Service oriented with strong communication skills.
• Cooperative and diplomatic.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
