Job Summary

Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is seeking a Childcare Attendant to join our team. As a Childcare Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and caring management of children in our drop-in center. This includes monitoring children, serving snacks, and facilitating learning opportunities. You will also assist in keeping parents informed of policies and procedures at the center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate hands-on interactive learning experiences with children.
  • Assist in the registration process of children.
  • Update and ensure accuracy of student files.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents regarding services, enrollment, and scheduling.
  • Contribute to the achievement of short- and long-term goals for the Center.
  • Participate in regular team meetings.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 12-18 months of related experience and/or training.
  • Child/infant CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple duties and resolve conflicts.
