Key Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate the condition of acute and chronic wounds.
- Perform wound consultation, wound care, debridement, and advanced wound modalities.
- Order, perform, supervise, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests.
- Develop and manage wound care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Monitor and document wound healing progress, including measurements and photographs.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records and charts.
- Ensure confidentiality and safeguard all patient-related information.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate care for patients living in a home setting.
- Organize work schedule and patient visits.
- Graduate-level degree as APRN or PA.
- Current licensure to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
- Function within the duties permitted by state.
- Ability to work independently and make accurate, quick judgments.
- Acceptance and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
- Completion of Wound Care Certification upon hire.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an APRN or PA preferred.
- Active patient contact within the past three years preferred.
- Wound care experience is preferred but will train the right candidate.
