  • Perform wound consultation, wound care, debridement, and advanced wound modalities.
  • Order, perform, supervise, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests.
  • Develop and manage wound care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
  • Monitor and document wound healing progress, including measurements and photographs.
  • Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate records and charts.
  • Ensure confidentiality and safeguard all patient-related information.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate care for patients living in a home setting.
  • Organize work schedule and patient visits.
Requirements:
  • Graduate-level degree as APRN or PA.
Training and Licensure:
  • Current licensure to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Function within the duties permitted by state.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to work independently and make accurate, quick judgments.
  • Acceptance and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
  • Completion of Wound Care Certification upon hire.
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an APRN or PA preferred.
  • Active patient contact within the past three years preferred.
  • Wound care experience is preferred but will train the right candidate.
