About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Drafting Specialist to join our team in Manassas, Virginia. As a key member of our engineering staff, you will assist us with projects of varying size and complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare repair and restoration drawings and details for architectural, structural, and building enclosure repair projects.
  • Create graphic illustrations for presentations and reports.
  • Conduct surveys, inspections, and investigations of buildings and structures by measuring and documenting existing conditions.
  • Perform quality assurance and diagnostic testing to identify air and water leakage through various building components.
  • Document compliance with approved project plans and specifications.
Requirements
  • Career Studies Certificate or Associate of Applied Science in Computer Aided Drafting and Design, Architecture Technology, or similar technical program of study.
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to work from heights and elevated platforms.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced office environment and travel depending on job assignment.
