The role of a CADD Technician at Rinker Design Associates, LLC involves designing and preparing detailed drawings and plans for transportation projects. To succeed in this position, you will need to have a strong understanding of engineering design principles and the ability to utilize various software platforms. Experience in Bentley/MicroStation drafting and familiarity with Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) design work are highly desirable.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year

About the Position
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting field investigations, assisting with the processing and analysis of field survey data, and collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other team members. You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in CADD and engineering design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative solutions for transportation projects using engineering design principles.
  • Create high-quality preliminary and final plans and drawings using various software platforms.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure accurate capture and integration of design plans.

Requirements:
A High School Diploma is required, and a BS/BA in a related field or a degree in Computer-Aided Design & Drafting is preferred. Familiarity with Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) design work is highly desirable.
