Role Summary:The Compensation and Benefits Specialist plays a crucial role in the design, management, and assessment of employee compensation and benefits programs. This position requires a thorough analysis of benefits data, ensuring adherence to regulations, and suggesting enhancements to improve employee satisfaction and organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Benefits Management:
- Oversee and administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and additional perks.
- Collaborate with benefits providers and manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Facilitate open enrollment periods and ensure the seamless execution of benefits modifications.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Evaluate benefits data to determine program performance and cost efficiency.
- Generate reports and presentations for senior management on benefits trends, expenses, and employee engagement.
- Monitor benefits usage and identify areas for enhancement.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure benefits programs meet federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA.
- Stay informed on changes in benefits legislation and implement necessary updates.
- Manage benefits-related audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Employee Assistance:
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding benefits options, claims, and inquiries.
- Create and distribute benefits communication and educational resources.
- Address and resolve employee concerns related to benefits.
- Program Assessment and Improvement:
- Evaluate current benefits offerings and benchmark against industry standards.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to benefits programs based on employee feedback and market trends.
- Participate in the selection and evaluation of new benefits providers or vendors.
- Documentation and Record Maintenance:
- Maintain accurate and confidential records related to benefits.
- Ensure timely processing of benefits-related transactions and changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in benefits administration or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits programs and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in benefits management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Certification such as Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or similar is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive and adaptable to changing priorities and regulations.

Compensation Details:$40.00 to $50.00 per hour

Our benefits provide employees the flexibility to choose coverage that meets their individual needs. Associates may also be eligible for paid leave, including Paid Sick Leave or any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.
