Job Overview

The Wellness Pet Company seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead its industrial maintenance team. As a key member of the Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum operational potential is realized through effective engineering and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities
  • Cost Management: Develop and manage budgets to ensure optimal resource allocation and cost effectiveness in maintenance operations.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Implement and monitor predictive and preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan.
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance projects, including electrical and mechanical upgrades, to support manufacturing operations.
  • Training and Development: Train key personnel on effective maintenance practices, including the use of computerized maintenance management systems and problem-solving tools.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations, including OSHA, EPA, GMP, FDA, and other local, state, and federal agencies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or technical education.
  • Experience: Proven experience in packaging/mechanical operation, electrical, instrumentation, electronics/controls, HVAC, compressed air, and PLC experience.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, ability to communicate effectively, and ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Certifications: Industrial Refrigeration Operator Level 1 certification (preferred).
