We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Construction Specialist in our U.S. Onshore Resources & Carbon Management, Rockies asset based in Platteville, Colorado. This position is responsible for providing support to the Facilities & Construction departments related to location construction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing key process metrics to promote maintenance construction efficiencies
  • Creating cost projections for maintenance and facility-related projects
  • Assisting engineering in equipment layout and piping design, coordinating work with operations teams and other construction disciplines (Electrical, Automation)
  • Providing field oversight to ensure operational compliance with all safety-related rules and regulations, working hand-in-hand with our HSE team to promote a safety culture in the field
  • Overseeing construction crews in the field and providing project guidance from start to finish
  • Developing cost estimates for maintenance and facility projects
  • Collaborating with engineering on equipment layout and piping design, and coordinating with operations and other construction teams (Electrical, Automation)
  • Ensuring field compliance with safety rules and regulations, adhering to State/Local laws
  • Supervising construction crews and providing project guidance from beginning to end

Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Competencies:

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of process piping and production facility workflows, as well as knowledge of piping specifications and installation practices in production facilities. Familiarity with excavation safety and best practices is also essential. The ideal candidate will have oversight of field welding operations, as well as NDT and hydrotesting requirements. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.), are also required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong time management skills, are necessary for success in this role. The candidate must be self-motivated, versatile, and willing to learn, with the ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Education:

A High School Diploma/GED is required for this position.

Relocation:

This position is not eligible for relocation.

Travel Requirements:

The percentage of travel required for this position is 10-25%.

Work Schedule:

This position is eligible for the 9/80 work schedule.

Salary Range:

$108,000 - $184,000

Discretionary Bonus:

0 - 50%
