Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide. As a key member of our food services team, you will assist the Cook in preparing and serving meals, ensuring that quality food service is provided to our residents and clients.
Responsibilities- Assist the Cook in preparing and serving meals, following established policies and procedures.
- Prepare and deliver food and trays, wash dishes, and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards.
- Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Work collaboratively with the food services team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; specialized training in food service desirable.
- Current ServSafe certification and Food Handler's card required.
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
