Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiography Supervisor III to join our team. As a key member of our Nondestructive Test (NDT) staff, you will be responsible for directing the supervision of NDT staff and ensuring that the requirements of NAS 410 are met. You will also be responsible for interpreting codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDT methods utilized by the employer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directs supervision of NDT staff and ensures that the requirements of NAS 410 are met.
  • Interprets codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDT methods utilized by the employer.
  • Exercises technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.
  • Selects method and technique for specific inspection of an ammunition item.
  • Prepares and verifies the adequacy of radiographic (or other NDT) procedures.
  • Approves NDT procedures and NDT-related work instructions for technical adequacy.
  • Provides and/or directs the training, examination, and certification of personnel performing radiographic (or other NDT) inspection.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; degree in Engineering or related field strongly preferred.
  • Five years of NDT radiography experience required.
  • Level 3 Radiographer Certification strongly required.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control and assign end job duties.
  • Ability to conduct or direct training and provide oversight of personnel.

  • Expertise in: EXCEL, WORD, CADD (Revit/Bentley).
  • Ability to wear a mask, respirator, bulletproof vest, or other equipment.
  • Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Company's office or worksite.
  • Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g., extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.).
