Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Automation Project Engineer to become a vital member of our North American engineering team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in steering automation initiatives, ensuring cyber security compliance, and providing operational support.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and execute automation system engineering projects while adhering to established standards, safety protocols, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.
  • Implement cyber security measures in alignment with the site’s cyber security management framework.
  • Deliver control system configuration services across North American sites.
  • Offer technical assistance, engage in installation verifications, and support commissioning activities.
  • Develop control strategies for system infrastructure, encompassing hardware, networks, and cyber security protocols.
  • Provide automation support to operational facilities.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Control Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in chemical, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing settings.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing control system software and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience leading automation configuration tasks on projects.
  • Strong foundation in control system architecture and networking.
  • Familiarity with current cyber security standards and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Emerson DeltaV systems.
  • Cyber security training.
