Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate hemodialysis equipment for patient treatment sessions
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs and weight before and after treatments
  • Assess vascular access and perform cannulation procedures
  • Deliver prescribed interventions during dialysis therapy
  • Communicate any changes in patient status to the supervising nurse
  • Maintain precise treatment documentation and manage lab samples
  • Assist in educating patients and ensure efficient use of medical supplies

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. is mandatory
  • Desired attributes: reliable, empathetic, and team-oriented
  • Completion of a training program and CPR certification is required

Physical Requirements:

  • Involves desk work, patient interaction, and travel between locations
  • Work environment includes controlled air temperature and moderate noise levels
  • Potential exposure to infectious diseases
  • Ability to lift and assist patients may be necessary
