About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical assembly tasks, ensuring the highest quality of work and adhering to standard procedures and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble component parts into assemblies following standard procedures and work instructions
  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Ensure quality of all work produced and received from previous operations
  • Read and comprehend blueprints and manufacturing instructions
  • Identify and use hand tools, pneumatic tools, fixtures, and gauges
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED required
  • One-year final assembly experience preferred
  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly is preferred
  • Understanding of World Class manufacturing principles is desirable
