Job Title: Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Seven Fields Veterinary Hospital. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team in delivering high-quality medical services.

Job Summary:

The Veterinary Technician will be responsible for providing medical care to patients under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian. This includes administering medications, taking vital signs, and performing laboratory tests. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, communicating effectively with clients, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to patients under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian
  • Administer medications and perform laboratory tests
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

  • Assist with surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related field
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
