Job Summary

The Senior/Lead Radiologic Technologist plays a crucial role in the Radiology Department at St. David's South Austin Medical Center, a 368-bed acute care facility offering a range of complex specialties and sub-specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the Technologists and clinical staff to ensure the quality of their work.
  • Contribute to the effective management of the department.
  • Consistently produce films of optimal diagnostic quality on patients of all ages.
  • Administer contrast media in accordance with the contrast policies & procedures.
  • Follow Patient Care and Safety Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an America Medical Association-approved program in Radiologic Technology or meet requirements for Texas certification of Medical Radiologic Technologist of an education-equivalent basis.
  • Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist with the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
