Engineering Excellence in Public Works

At Cannon Corp, we're seeking a talented Civil Associate Engineer to join our Public Works team in Irvine. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing tasks, assisting team members, and preparing engineering reports and analyses. Your expertise will be essential in designing and preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for various clients and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple civil engineering projects in Public Works.
  • Work independently on engineering design for projects of medium complexity.
  • Support senior engineers in tasks related to budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance.
  • Prepare PSandE for storm drain, water quality BMPs, sanitary sewer, and water pipelines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, departments, and agencies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
  • California P.E. license.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering, specifically in Public Works projects.
  • Minimum 1 year of project management experience in Public Works projects.
  • Working knowledge of typical computer software programs used in civil engineering design.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • A proven track record of providing superior client service and delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time within budget.
