About the Role

Senspex, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our Operations Department in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. As an Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for providing professional repair and maintenance services for Senspex products and services, encompassing thermal imaging and video camera systems, electro-mechanical switching mechanisms, video processing, and environmental sensing devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the assembly, installation, and testing of sensor components and systems
  • Construct, maintain, and test electrical systems and components
  • Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts to ensure they meet established specifications
  • Review system designs and collaborate with internal and external customers on technical projects
  • Assist with hardware/software and network systems integration
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Strong networking and field engineering background
  • 1+ years' experience
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Ability to apply basic systems engineering principles to solve problems
  • Ability to create process-driven documentation and manage project requirements
