Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs, including medical and psychosocial evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and medication management as needed.
- Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in psychiatric-mental health nursing.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in psychiatric-mental health nursing, preferably in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
