Compassionate Family Support Specialist

The MOMS Home Visitor role at the Family and Children's Agency Inc is a dynamic opportunity for a compassionate individual to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families with children ages birth to eight years old.
About the Role:
- This position involves conducting regular home visits, providing case management services, and connecting families with essential resources to promote positive child development and parenting skills.
- You will facilitate groups and workshops as assigned, assist with transportation and childcare, and outreach to identify new clients for the MOMS Program.
- As a trusted advocate, you will accompany clients to medical and agency appointments, provide accurate information on child health and wellness, and support clients in achieving their goals.
- Your responsibilities will also include maintaining accurate records, participating in supervision and staff meetings, and staying up-to-date with community and state-wide training sessions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- You must possess awareness of cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of clients served and hold a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- A Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, early childhood education, or a related field is preferred, but an Associate's degree with relevant experience is also considered.
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills are highly valued.
