Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC Medical Center's Children's OR. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pediatric patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in a pediatric or surgical setting.
