Key Responsibilities- Anesthesia Equipment Preparation and Maintenance: Our ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining anesthesia machines, monitors, and other equipment in the operating room. They will ensure that all equipment is functioning properly, calibrated, and sterile before each surgery.
- Assistance in Anesthesia Administration: During surgical procedures, the Anesthesia Technician will assist the anesthesiologist in administering anesthesia to patients. They will help in preparing and delivering medications, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring patient safety during the procedure.
- Patient Vital Sign Monitoring: Our Anesthesia Technician will closely monitor the patient's vital signs during surgery, including blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, and temperature. They will communicate any changes or abnormalities to the medical team and make adjustments as necessary.
- Emergency Support: In the event of an anesthesia-related emergency, such as an adverse reaction or complication, the Anesthesia Technician must be prepared to assist the medical team. They will be trained to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations, providing necessary support and equipment.
- BLS Certification
- Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) Certification
Our Anesthesia Technician will work a 5/8 schedule with no weekend requirements or on-call duties.
