Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our esteemed nursing team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to all relevant regulations and policies.

Work Schedule: We are primarily looking for Night Shift Nurses, but we welcome applications for all shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active license with the California State Board of Nursing
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in long-term care settings
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Professional demeanor and a calm approach in all situations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, document, and report on patient conditions
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Record vital signs including temperature, respiration, and pulse
  • Prepare treatment trays and necessary equipment for procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned patients' conditions
  • Review reports from previous shifts to identify changes in resident status
  • Ensure accurate handover of records to incoming shift nurses
  • Notify the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) and/or Administrator of any changes in patient conditions or other relevant issues
