Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Data Specialist III to join our team at the Cheng Lab, Heart Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data for assigned research studies, designing forms for data collection, and ensuring compliance with federal and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Manage data for research studies, including designing forms for data collection, clinical data abstraction, and processing data.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal and local regulations, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and local Institutional Review Board.
  • Training and Development: Train clinical research staff to improve data quality and develop clinical trials management systems.
  • Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis for publication, in conjunction with a biostatistician.
  • System Development: Work with bioinformatics to develop and maintain clinical trials management systems, including validation of systems.
Requirements

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training, and experience.

Experience: Five (5) years minimum experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
