About the Job:The Healthcare Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience in various service lines, including Daily Care, Family Medicine, Mental Health, Women's Health, Dermatology, and Podiatry.
This involves tasks such as appointment scheduling, medical record updates, patient check-in and check-out, blood draws, lab processing, and inventory management.

- Deliver outstanding customer service to meet patient expectations.
- Schedule appointments as needed.
- Process patient payments efficiently.
- Educate patients on accessing their medical records.
- Maintain up-to-date patient information.
- Perform phlebotomy services while adhering to laboratory guidelines.
- Process specimens and document results accurately.
- Manage supply inventory and order supplies as necessary.
- Operate basic medical equipment and provide emergency care when required.
- Support healthcare providers as needed.
- Foster a clean and organized clinic environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to adapt to new computer systems and software.
- Independent work style with strong teamwork skills.
- CPR/BLS certification required, or ability to obtain within 60 days.
- State-specific medical assistant/phlebotomy licensure required within 6 months, if applicable.
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience.
