Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in a top healthcare facility.

Job Description

As a Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals requiring extended medical treatment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized care to 5-6 patients
  • Monitoring and administering medications
  • Educating patients and families on surgical processes and illness management
  • Interpreting telemetry readings and notifying medical teams of irregularities
  • Performing duties required of a registered nurse

You will work in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to multiple admissions and discharges while maintaining a high level of patient care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Active RN License
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in Long Term Acute Care
  • Experience with Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes, and ability to read Tele-strips
