Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Long Term Acute Care

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Long Term Acute Care to join our team.

About the Job

This is a travel nursing position in a Long Term Acute Care setting, requiring a registered nurse with experience in caring for patients with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced LTAC environment
  • Monitor and administer medications, as well as educate patients and families on surgical processes and illness management
  • Use specialized equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information, and interpret telemetry readings
  • Perform duties required of a registered nurse, including starting IVs, drawing blood, and caring for patients with pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A-Fib
Requirements
  • Active RN license
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long Term Acute Care setting
  • Experience with Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes, and ability to read Tele-strips
