Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of food preparation and service in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Cook in food preparation and service, following established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver food and trays, wash dishes, and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow safety precautions to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure a sanitary environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily with attention to detail and quality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; specialized training in food service desirable.
  • Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required based on State/County law.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
