As an EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to both emergency and non-emergency ambulance requests, delivering essential medical care to patients, and ensuring safe and efficient transport to medical facilities and back home.

- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic certification as mandated by state regulations and/or NREMT.
- Keep a current CPR certification.
- Possess a valid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record.
- Ensure the ambulance is consistently clean and ready for non-emergency responses.
- Respond appropriately to dispatched calls.
- Provide medical care within the EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic scope of practice, following established medical protocols.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills when interacting with colleagues and external clients.
- Perform additional tasks as necessary to fulfill job requirements. Note that shifts and responsibilities may vary.
- Valid State and/or NREMT License at the EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic level.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid Driver's License with a safe driving history.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
- Adaptability to varying temperatures, both indoors and outdoors.
- Capacity to learn technical information pertinent to job responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a noisy environment.
- Must be able to communicate verbally, both in person and over the phone.
- Close visual acuity is necessary for patient care, data analysis, and equipment operation.
- Proficiency in English is required for communication and reading tasks.
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (approximately 80% of the time).
- Frequent typing or writing (approximately 15% of the time).
- Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment.
- Ability to navigate within the ambulance to provide patient care and retrieve equipment.
- Proficient in operating computers and office machinery.
- Ability to use EMS equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and EKG machines.
- Frequent communication with patients and healthcare professionals to exchange accurate information.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and moving patients as necessary.
- Capability to lift over 200 lbs. with assistance for patient handling.
- Ability to grasp small items and paperwork as needed.
