Position Overview

Role Summary: The Site Director plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and management of assigned sites. This position involves engaging with parents through regular meetings, leading staff discussions, implementing disciplinary protocols, and ensuring that all administrative documentation is precise and submitted punctually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily functions of the program in alignment with contractual obligations.
  • Provide consistent supervision and support to staff members.
  • Design and implement engaging in-person and remote learning activities.
  • Develop and monitor individualized behavior and transition plans for students as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and snacks provided.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all necessary administrative paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Completion of 48 college units or successful passing of the District's Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam.
  • Valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification required upon hire.
  • At least one year of experience in an afterschool program or childcare setting for elementary or middle school-aged children.
  • Completion of 12 college units in child development, education, recreation, or a related field, or equivalent documented experience in an ASES program.
  • One year of supervisory experience with children and staff, or one year of assistant supervisory experience within Harmonium, or demonstrated administrative and programmatic skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting hourly rate: $26.52, with all new hires beginning at this rate regardless of prior experience.
