Job Title: Slope Vehicle Shop Supervisor

Steamboat Ski Resort is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Slope Vehicle Shop Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Vehicle Maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all ski resort vehicles and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of mechanics to ensure compliance with safety and company procedures
  • Ensure proper maintenance and repairs of all equipment, including vehicles, buses, snow cats, and heavy equipment
  • Order, maintain, and ensure accuracy of parts inventory
  • Perform performance evaluations of shop floor mechanics and reporting employees
  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Assist in parts room as needed
  • Manage all vehicle shop shipping and receiving
  • Ensure the shop floor is clean and all work areas are looking professional
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as any regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair
  • Ability to run and operate heavy equipment
  • Ability to problem-solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
