Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will assist physicians and other staff members with the care of patients in producing high-quality radiographs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out radiology requisitions and views, using radiographic technique and PACS as needed.
  • Operate all portables and C-Arm equipment, memorizing the views required by each physician.
  • Assist patients in getting into the positions required to get the radiographs needed, with occasional lifting of patients.
  • Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety, using radiation protection and shielding materials.
  • Stock necessary supplies, import and upload outside CDs, and ensure equipment is in working order.
  • Assist with and provide direct training and supervision to student technologists, promoting Hughston Orthopaedics Medical Group, LLC's role in the community.
  • Utilize effective communication skills, interacting with co-workers, other clinic employees, supervisors, and outside vendors.
Requirements
  • Six months experience as a radiologic technologist required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of course work in radiologic technology approved by the ARRT, and current ARRT certification and TN licensure.
  • BLS certification, knowledge of radiographic technique, PACS, and muskuloskeletal anatomy, and ability to work independently and have working knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
  • Valid Drivers License and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), with travel required.
