Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Nashville General Hospital. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating complex imaging equipment to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures. You will work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate routine radiography equipment, fluoroscopy, portable x-ray machines, and operating room imaging equipment.
  • Perform patient care services relevant to imaging procedures, including IV access starts and injection of contrast.
  • Interact with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Perform job duties with independence and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of a two-year accredited radiography program (JCERT accredited preferred).
  • Active certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible and obtain certification within the probationary hiring/employment period.
  • BLS required.
