Critical Care Nurse Rotational Program for Graduates

Overview of the Graduate Nurse Rotational Program (GNRP):
UPMC Passavant is excited to present openings for Graduate Nurses to participate in a comprehensive Rotational Program. This initiative allows new nurses to experience various departments, including the Emergency Department, Stepdown Units, and either the MICU/SICU or the CVICU over a structured period. Each participant will benefit from the guidance of preceptors throughout their rotations.

Key Responsibilities as a GNRP Professional Staff Nurse:
As a Professional Staff Nurse in this program, you will provide exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism. Your role will involve independent decision-making, effective communication, and collaboration with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications for GNRP Role:
- Possession of State Board Licensure or eligibility for the NCLEX examination

Licenses, Certifications, and Clearances:
Current Pennsylvania RN licensure or Temporary Practice Permit
CPR certification as per AHA standards
Act 34 Criminal Clearance
Basic Life Support certification
