Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Simpson, a not-for-profit family of services, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a healthcare professional, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to patients in our long-term care skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to patients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and providing wound care.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
  • Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program
  • Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the PA Department of Health
  • CPR Certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • AED Certification (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
