Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate the scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
2. Monitor work quality and materials to meet established standards throughout various project phases.
3. Conduct construction inspections for multi-trade contracts to verify compliance with contract specifications.
4. Assist project managers in coordinating field activities between the facility and trades.
5. Support project managers in managing Field Orders and Change Orders.
6. Facilitate Third Party Code Inspection and maintain necessary documentation.
7. Communicate effectively with the project team and assist subcontractors in fulfilling their responsibilities.
8. Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to adhere to safety and compliance regulations.
9. Maintain a comprehensive daily log of site activities, materials used, and issues resolved.
10. Identify and address conflicts, organizing meetings and collaborating with team members as needed.
11. Ensure safety and security measures are upheld at all project sites.
12. Guarantee compliance with accepted standards of workmanship.
Qualifications
- A minimum of six years of experience in construction, focusing on large-scale building and rehabilitation projects.
- At least four years of experience as a Superintendent or Inspector on substantial multi-contract building projects.
- Proficient in developing and communicating project work plans, monitoring performance, and ensuring coordination among various trades.
- Elevator experience is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with clients and subcontractors.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with Submittal Exchange and Bluebeam is preferred.
- Experience in Institutional Construction is advantageous.
Compensation
The compensation range for this position is between $40.00/hr and $56.00/hr, based on individual qualifications and location. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
