Job Summary:

We are seeking a Mechanical Inspector and Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of mechanical hoses and related automotive components.

Your main focus will be on inspecting and testing electrical wiring, connectors, and components used in our products. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect electrical wiring and connections in automotive assemblies, including verifying proper installation, functionality, and conformance to electrical standards.
  2. Conduct electrical tests on components, including continuity testing, voltage checks, resistance tests, and troubleshooting wiring issues using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical diagnostic tools.
  3. Perform mechanical and electrical inspections on hoses and assemblies to ensure compliance with product specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements.
  4. Document inspection results, including detailed records of electrical tests, defects, and any non-conformance, ensuring full traceability for quality audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or automotive technology).
  • At least 2 years of experience in quality control with a focus on electrical systems, electrical testing, or automotive electrical components.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, connectors, sensors, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to document inspection results, report findings, and collaborate with production teams.

Estimated Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
