About the Role:

We are seeking a part-time Merchandiser to join our team in the West Grand Rapids area. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for traveling to assigned accounts to stock, rotate, and face our products, including beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Placement: Stock, rotate, and face merchandise at assigned accounts to ensure optimal product visibility.
  • Inventory Management: Consolidate and organize products in backstock areas to maintain efficient inventory levels.
  • Display Creation: Work with Sales Representatives to build displays that showcase our products in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Communication: Communicate necessary information within the sales team to ensure proper levels of product and prevent stock outs.
  • Lifting and Mobility: Repeatedly bend to lift product, including cases weighing up to 50lbs, and move merchandise throughout the assigned accounts.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this role.
  • Adequate Auto Insurance: We require a certain level of coverage for employment, which will be provided to you during the interview process.
  • Reliable Transportation: Merchandisers drive their own vehicle from store to store.
  • Stable Work History: It takes about two weeks for training, so we hire people with a proven track record of reliability.
  • Self-Directed: Although you are a part of a bigger team, you will be working alone.
  • Customer Service Problem-Solving Skills: Our Merchandisers must communicate with customers and other employees.
