**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Highway Project Engineer to join our team in San Antonio, TX. The successful candidate will lead the project development process for roadway/highway projects, track effort and manage resources, and provide professional mentoring of EITs and Designers.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the project development process for roadway/highway projects
  • Track effort and manage resources
  • Organize and coordinate design elements with teaming partners
  • Provide professional mentoring of EITs and Designers
  • Lead the development of schematic design and PS&E in Texas
  • Support other teams when needed to accomplish company milestones

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer License (Texas)
  • 5-10 years of Highway Design Experience
  • Establish project specific design criteria meeting Client standards
  • Use Microstation, Geopak, and/or OpenRoads Designer to generate roadway horizontal and vertical alignments
  • Design and develop cross sections, and/or 3D models
  • Utilize the TMUTCD to develop traffic control plans, and signing and marking layouts
  • Design and prepare SW3P plans
  • Experience generating plans, specifications, and estimates for highway/roadway projects for TxDOT and other government agencies.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
