Job Description

Position Overview:

Motion Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL processes and workflows to provide valuable insights that drive business growth.

This is a fully remote position, and applicants must be located in the Eastern Time Zone. As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements, and collaborate with our data engineering team to design, develop, and maintain ETL processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes, including monitoring and optimizing ETL workflows
  • Expert knowledge of Go and Python programming languages
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and MySQL
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
  • Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures
  • Experience with Kubernetes (K8s), containers
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Development

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
  • Experience with Jasper Reports
  • Knowledge of Druid
  • Proficiency in Apache Superset
