Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our NICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and report on patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Kansas
  • Experience working in a pediatric intensive care unit or NICU setting
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
