Job Title: Bartender

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Great Wolf Lodge. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve customers a wide range of beverages, including beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Prepare garnishes and mix drinks according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Assess customer needs and preferences, making recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to high standards of presentation and service.
  • Monitor customers' alcohol consumption, refusing service and/or calling for alternate transportation as necessary.
  • Perform cash-handling functions, including point-of-sale (POS) system, registers, and daily reporting.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands.
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous bartending training and/or experience.
  • Understanding of sanitation-related issues and knowledge of precautions necessary to ensure clean beverage preparation environment.
  • Projects professional image that inspires trust and confidence.
  • Enthusiastic and positive energy.
  • Multi-tasking ability.
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to bend, stretch, and twist.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
