Job Description

The Assistant Manager, Global Indirect Procurement role is a key position within the Procurement team at Este Lauder Companies. This role is responsible for contributing to various Indirect Procurement objectives to realize maximum benefit to the business.

The Assistant Manager will work with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams across Brands and/or Regions on select spend management initiatives. This includes supporting the implementation of category-specific supply strategies, driving select strategic sourcing activities, and helping to build supplier relationship management programs for various categories of indirect spend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with team lead to execute category-specific supply strategies, ensuring that products are specified and optimized with the best supplier input and capabilities.
  • Help develop category strategies on a local level in close alignment with stakeholders, including demand-related approaches.
  • Plan and conduct low-to-medium complexity sourcing projects, such as Requests for Proposal (RFPs) on a global, regional or local level, engaging stakeholders and the required cross-functional resources.
  • Engage in supplier relationship management (SRM) and implementation of supplier contracts, including ensuring correct supplier set up in SAP and other enterprise systems.
  • Redline and amend contracts ensuring legal adequateness, implement contracts and capture them in the system.

Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office, SAP Suite Applications
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Contract drafting and redlining skills
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Advanced Degree highly preferred
  • 4+ years experience
  • 5% travel time
  • Professional Procurement Certification preferred
  • Previous work experience in a Procurement-related field strongly preferred
