Mechanical Project Manager

This position involves supporting the management and estimation of process pipe and mechanical systems for large mission-critical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multiple projects, from estimating through final acceptance, to successfully complete company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the overall project team in a positive, team-driven, results-oriented manner.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime clients to facilitate construction activities.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policy boundaries.
• Plan, organize, and manage office staff and field supervision.
• Own, manage, and update the project schedule.
• Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendents to ensure projects are built safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Represent the company in owner progress meetings.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts and be responsible for project profit or loss.
• Lead project teams in daily field coordination meetings, weekly block schedule meetings, and monthly safety kickoff meetings.
• Mentor and assist with career development of other team members.
• Coordinate with the back office Central Engineering Group team to provide support as needed for the onsite project team.
• Actively search for continuous improvements in project planning, processes, and execution.
Requirements:
Possess a 4-year Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
10+ years' experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management in a self-performing general contractor role required.
