Ambulatory Nursing Supervisor

The RN Clinical Supervisor is a key member of the physician practice management team, responsible for supervising clinical staff in an ambulatory setting. This role coordinates, assigns, and guides the work activities of clinical staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinates and assigns work activities of clinical staff
- Monitors work schedules and supports quality initiatives
- Improves workflows and clinical effectiveness
- Leads nursing practice oversight and trains new staff
- Collaborates with the interprofessional team to provide patient-centered care
- Collects and assesses data to develop and evaluate patient care plans
- Drives clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health
- Establishes goals and strategies for care coordination across settings
- Delegates and supervises care in accordance with policies, protocols, and regulations
- Minimum three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- One year of supervisory experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, or Associate's degree in Nursing with enrollment in a BSN program
- RN License in Massachusetts
- CPR certification
- Physician practice experience
- Leadership abilities and experience
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to independently assess patients and implement care plans
