About the Role

Community Health Programs is a network of health centers and caring professionals that provide outstanding primary and preventive care for patients of all ages. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare services, and we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with our organization, you will be responsible for triaging patients by telephone or walk-in to determine the urgency and level of care needed. You will also assist physicians in all procedures requiring nursing level support, administer immunizations, and manage requests for prescription medication. Additionally, you will be responsible for charting all procedures performed, running daily controls on equipment, and assisting in charting for quality assurance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong ability to interact with others with tact and diplomacy, treat others with respect and consideration, and contribute to a positive team spirit. You will also need to be able to manage multiple priorities, work well under pressure, and complete tasks correctly and on time with limited supervision. A minimum of three years' experience in an ambulatory setting is preferred, and electronic medical records experience is required. CPR certification is a plus.
