Job Description

NorthBay Health is seeking a highly skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join our team of medical experts. As a key member of our cardiovascular services team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases of the heart and blood vessels.

Our comprehensive cardiology services and specialty heart care include the region's first accredited Chest Pain (Heart Attack) Center, the only cardiothoracic surgery program in Solano County, and our Heart Failure Clinic. Our expert teams include interventional cardiologists, cardiac electrophysiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, vascular surgeons, and highly specialized cardiac nurses and technologists.

As an Interventional Cardiologist at NorthBay Health, you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive resources, including multiple catheterization labs. You will also have access to a collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
  • Atherectomy
  • Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging
  • IFR/FFR (Instantaneous Wave-Free Ratio/Fractional Flow Reserve)
  • Pulmonary Artery Pressure Monitoring Device Implantation
  • Peripheral Angiograms
  • Emergency and Rescue Procedures
  • Coronary Angiograms and/or Cardiac Catheterization
  • Imaging and Diagnostics
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board-certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state
  • Proven experience in interventional cardiology procedures
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Compensation and Perks:
  • Total Compensation Range: $700,000 - $818,000
