Our Team: The team comprises interventional cardiologists, cardiac electrophysiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, vascular surgeons, and highly skilled cardiac nurses and technologists. We utilize non-surgical interventional techniques and minimally invasive procedures, promoting quicker recovery and reduced discomfort for our patients.

Position Summary: The Board Certified, Licensed Interventional Cardiologist will be an integral part of our esteemed health system located in Northern California, surrounded by numerous recreational opportunities that support a healthy lifestyle.

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with dedicated procedure time and general call responsibilities.
  • Patient Care: Balanced responsibilities for both inpatient and outpatient care.
  • Call Responsibilities: Involvement in general call and STEMI call duties.
  • Patient Load: Management of a consistent daily patient census.
  • Resources: Access to state-of-the-art equipment and multiple catheterization labs.
  • Support: Collaborative environment with a team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
  • Conducting Atherectomy procedures
  • Utilizing Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging
  • Implementing IFR/FFR (Instantaneous Wave-Free Ratio/Fractional Flow Reserve)
  • Monitoring Pulmonary Artery Pressure Device Implantation
  • Executing Peripheral Angiograms, including lower extremity and carotid angiograms
  • Managing Emergency and Rescue Procedures, including cardiac catheterizations for myocardial infarctions
  • Conducting Coronary Angiograms and/or Cardiac Catheterizations
  • Interpreting imaging and diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms and nuclear medicine scans
  • Possessing an MD or DO degree
  • Being board-certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
  • Holding a valid medical license
  • Demonstrating proven experience in interventional cardiology
  • Exhibiting excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Possessing strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Working effectively within a team-oriented setting

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation Range: $700,000 - $818,000
