About the Role

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team in Humble, Texas.

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of expertise in radiation therapy and patient care management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Simulate treatment set-ups according to physician instructions.
  • Perform dosimetric calculations under the supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist.
  • Deliver prescribed courses of radiation therapy with accuracy and precision.
  • Assist in Brachytherapy procedures.
  • Verify dose through barometer and thermometer measurements.
  • Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Promote individual professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
  • Certified Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiation Therapy Technologists (ARRT-T) or temporary certification for recent graduates.
  • Licensed by the Texas Department of Health (CMRT).
  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others.
